Episcopal Muslims, Buddhists & Druids

2 Timothy 4:3-4 ~ "3-For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4-And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables."

The Episcopal Church USA led by Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori (pictured below) has been an open door over the years to almost every type of apostasy possible. Much of what you'll read in this post is public knowledge and has either been resolved favorably or is the process of being resolved with some exceptions. Within this church, there are yet some questions that linger and the practice of homosexuality among clergy in the Episcopal Church is an accepted practice. For those who lead organizations or are considering beginning one, this church should serve as an example of what happens when you stop teaching, preaching and living the word of God in an uncompromising fashion and begin to teach a "social gospel" designed to make individuals feel comfortable in their sins.

Many Problems Begin At The Top

"God is, at the very least, a mystery,...God’s intention is for a restored relationship with all humanity. My job is to proclaim the good news of Jesus, but I cannot deny God is not at work in other ways,” ~ Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori Episcopal Church USA Church Of England News {in PEORIA, Il.-My back yard} 4/17/2009

"Christians understand that Jesus is the route to God. That is not to say that Muslims, or Sikhs, or Jains, come to God in a radically different way. They come to God through human experience—through human experience of the divine." ~ Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori Episcopal Church USA {NPR's "Here And Now" 10/18/2006.}

"We who practice the Christian tradition understand him as our vehicle to the divine"..."but for us to assume that God could not act in other ways is, I think, to put God in an awfully small box." ~ Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori Episcopal Church USA {Time Magazine 7/10/2006}

One can debate over whether a woman should pastor or lead and organization and point to that as the first problem with this church. I won't debate or set forth that issue here, but I will note that the preceding words from the Chief Apostle of the Episcopal Church is strong evidence of an obtuse and disingenuous reading and understanding of scripture. In fact they are strong evidence of a consistent but heretical position in which the Bishop feels that she can rewrite the word of God to suit her tastes. Borrowing from many of the more popular form critical assumptions of skeptical and critical scholars, the Bishop claims that Christians must rethink their ideas about how God could "act" among other religions and peoples. This is shades of the New Humanism that I outlined in a previous post that holds that new standards can be obtained and that historical standards and norms are obsolete especially when they are based on considerations outside of humanity. There are a bevy of problems associated with this line of thinking, and more specifically the Bishop's statements center around how a person can or could become acceptable with God.

The first fallacious thought that must be dispelled is that Christians teach that God can't or won't move among non-Christians. The scripture has said that God rains upon ie: provides for, the just and the unjust (Mt. 5:45). To think that God does not act in the life of sinners and non-Christian individuals is an overstatement. Even the Old Testament history, is filled with examples of God interacting and providing blessings to and upon non covenant peoples and persons.

However, the real point that the Bishop was making is that salvation or the right to access God has been given through other religions equally as well as Christianity. In other words, all religions lead to the same God with some variations and differing results or aims along the way. The thought that all of these different and varying spiritual and philosophical constructs can be molded into some sort of new multi-categorical practice or belief is called syncretism.

What About These Words Bishop?

John 14:6 ~ "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me".

The problem is that world religions DON'T lead to and through Jesus. In fact in many of those religions Jesus is only recorded as a good man or prophet but nothing else. In many of those religions Jesus can be no more than an enlightened mystic, who found his way to an elevated form of consciousness. Still others would only regard Jesus as one among many of the world's great teachers. With all the conflicts about what world religions actually teach as opposed to Christianity, the Bishop's statements simply can't be true. Either her statements are correct and the bible is wrong or the other way around. There is no middle ground within her assertion. I wonder who should we believe? The one who has demonstrated his power and authority over death, hell and the grave by laying his life down and taking it up again, or the one who ordains homosexuals, promotes another gospel, and believes and promotes religious pluralism? The answer is pretty clear cut to me.

The Episcopal Diversity

Obviously the Episcopal Church has suffered at the hands of what I consider to be heretical teaching and allowances of their apostate Bishop. The evidence is clear. As stated, her words speak for themselves and she has not recanted them. In fact she was recently in my city and restated her beliefs when asked by an audience participant.

In an article in Christianity Today the Episcopal Church's battle with syncretism among its clergy was examined and the evidence that has presented itself is shocking. We all know the church's most famous homosexual, V. Gene Robinson Prelate Of New Hampshire, who was affirmed by the majority of Bishops in the church to continue his immoral practices and abomination from a highest ranking local position within the church, simply because he was said to be a "nice guy". The GLBT community certainly has its apostle of change in high ranks of the Christian church. I said in a previous post that atheists were even holding out for ordination. Well, if this keeps up, it won't be long that atheists will be pastoring and preaching messages from local pulpits with evangelistic fervor.

Aside from all that, the Episcopal Church has had Druids, Muslims, Wiccans, and Buddhists in the ranks of clergy who declare their Christian ministry and actually lead congregations. WHAT IN THE WORLD IS THAT?

Druids and Baal Worshipping Priests:
  • "In 2004, two suburban Philadelphia Episcopal priests, the Rev. William Melnyk and his wife, the Rev. Glyn Ruppe-Melnyk, were investigated by their bishop for being "practicing druids." The two were found to have been authors of a "Eucharist to our Mother Goddess" published on a Wicca website (and, for a while, on the Episcopal Church's Office of Women's Ministries site). Writing under the Druid and Wiccan names Oakwyse, Raven, Druis, and Glipsa, the liturgy evoked the Babylonian deity "Bel" and offered prayers to the "Queen of Heaven": a reference not to the Virgin Mary but to Ishtar, the consort of Baal. In an internet chatroom writing under the pseudonym "Druis," Melnyk stated he had been a member of the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids since 1998. "My spouse and I are both Druid graduates of the training course. We are also both priests in the Episcopal Church. Between us, we lead two groves, some call them 'congregations,' of Christians learning about Druidry numbering about 1200." ~ "Muslim Priest and Buddhist Bishop-Elect Are Raising Questions About Syncretism" Christianity Today, George Conger 3/27/09
Here we have Episcopal priests who believe in ongoing human sacrifice, reading signs of the future by the way that blood runs when someone is slaughtered...believing in metmepsychosis or some form or variation of reincarnation...mixing all of that with the practice of Wicca, Baalism and Christianity. Sounds like a fairy tale? Reality is sometimes stranger than fiction.

What About This?

Deut. 18:9-14 ~ "9-When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. 10-There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, 11-Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. 12-For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. 13-Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God. 14-For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the LORD thy God hath not suffered thee so to do."

In fact, wasn't Baalism one of the practices that got the Canaanites expelled from the land of promise and that stirred the wrath of God against Israel as they erected the pole of Ishtar (aka:Ashtoreth) next to the Tent Of Meeting to represent God's cohort or wife? It was these very practices that caused God to remove his glory and scatter Israel by placing them in bondage to heathen nations.

Thankfully (after being pressured and defrocked) the Melnyk(ies) repented, they stated that they had got involved in the Druid practices "to help others who had lost connection to the Church to find a way to reconnect." OooooKaaaayyy!

Then Come The Muslim Priests

I believe that this is what happens when your faith and practice of Christianity becomes dry, mundane and inexpressive. It leads to a lethargy of spirit.

"The way I understand Jesus is compatible with Islam,...I was following Jesus and he led me into Islam."~ Former Priest Ann Holmes Redding Muslim/Christian The Seattle Times 6/17/2007

This particular defrocked priest (Yes, the church did remove her) ministered in the Episcopal Church for 20 years and reverted to Islam because of a Clerics prayer in which he laid out prostrate on the in a worshipful manner appearing to render his total self to God. She was also impressed with the rigorous prayer life and appearance of piety. This priest was so impressed that in March 2006, she said her shahada — the profession of Islamic faith — testifying that there is only one God and that Mohammad is his messenger.

Now I have many Muslim friends and admit that order in worship and piety are an attractive element of Islam, but they aren't attractive enough for me to forget that Jesus is GOD. The piety of Islam is certainly not enough for me to forget that Jesus is the final revelation of God to man and that without faith in HIM alone none can be saved. Islam doesn't make me forget that Jesus was sinless, (Mohammad was not) physically died on the cross (it wasn't a replacement) and that he exercised his sole authority over life and death by dying and raising himself three days later. How can any Priest struggle with any of these basic significant differences simply because someone looks good when they pray? That is called apostasy!

Salvation Through Nirvana, A Christian Zen Buddhist Bishop-Elect???

"I was drawn to meditation because these elders in our own tradition suggested it as a resource. It can deepen our own closeness to Christ. I find it a very helpful tool. I am not a Buddhist, or a Buddhist priest. I am someone who as a Christian is very grateful for having been taught by the Zen community how to sit...The lay ordination was a welcoming rite for me to commit myself to the path to discover why I suffer or why other people suffer, and to use the practice of meditation to help that suffering."" ~ Bishop-Elect Kevin Thew Forrester Diocese Of Northern Michigan Episcopal Church USA. The Times Magazine

Bishop-elect Forrester known also by his Buddhist name, "Genpo" (which means "Way of Universal Wisdom"), was led into Buddhist meditation by ELDERS IN HIS TRADITION??? WOW! You mean that there are others but he is the poster child because he is the one that was caught? You mean that these "elders" totally overlooked the biblical construct of meditation to submit and direct others to a Godless construct and worldview?

On his own, ( I suppose) the Bishop-Elect holds that Buddhism is a not a theological construct and does not conflict with the practice of Christianity. Is that true? In line with his opinion, Buddhism does not believe in a supreme being or otherwise named God. It does however teach that the world is evil, full of suffering and can only be overcome through a higher state of consciousness called Nirvana. This state of enlightenment has NOTHING to do with Jesus, the word or the power of God. In fact in Buddhism, the true "higher power" is SELF and what one can attain through "self-efforts" In essence, the god of Buddhism is self or self actualization.

Rom. 7:18 ~ "For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not."

One thing is consistent. When a minister's concepts of biblical truth and sin are shaky or devoid of biblical understanding, one is left open to all sorts of doctrines of devils such as this. The following are the Bishop-Elect's thoughts on sin:
  • "Sin has little, if anything, to do with being bad,...It has everything to do, as far as I can tell, with being blind to our own goodness."~ Bishop-Elect Kevin Thew Forrester Diocese Of Nothern Michigan Episcopal Church USA
The Bishop-Elect's ideas on sin are in strange alignment with those of mystic Eckhart Tolle as explained in my post The New Enlightenment Pt. 3. In his book, "The New Earth" Mr. Tolle describes sin as simply "living unskillfully". In the world of the mystic everyone is good but just doesn't know it.
Let's further examine how a Christian Minister become a Zen Buddhist. Well the story goes a little like this (in addition to what was stated above)..."drawn into the Christian-Zen Buddhist dialogue through centering prayer and his desire to assist persons in their own transformation in Christ."

That sounds familiar. It sounds like...The Melynk(ies) story...They were drawn into Baalism, Wicca, and Druidism while trying "to help others who had lost connection to the Church to find a way to reconnect."

Wait a minute...Is this the playa, playa', pimpin' da pews or what??? I mean these priests get involved into ungodly and immoral practices then blame it on the members of the church they were trying to reach??? What is that???

Num. 32:23 ~ "But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out."

These Priests and other must take responsibility for their own sins, actions and behaviors. Not only do these priests not take the blame for their practices and place it squarely upon their shoulders, they claim that God and their desire to better serve God has opened these doors. Unfortunately, at no time do they equate their actions with sin. I guess when one can look over the obvious SIN of homosexuality and promote it along the way, then any practice is at least fair game. After all, Buddahism and Druidism isn't specifically listed as an abomination in the bible whereas homosexuality is, yet the practice of homosexuality gets a pass and even a promotion within the church whereas adherents to other practices get defrocked...Go Figure!

Short of the long, there's nothing new under the sun and it's all been done before. Remember Saul? After having been give explicit and specific instructions to destroy ALL...

1 Sam. 15: 9 ~ "But Saul and the people spared Agag, and the best of the sheep, and of the oxen, and of the fatlings, and the lambs, and all that was good, and would not utterly destroy them: but every thing that was vile and refuse, that they destroyed utterly."

But then when Saul was confronted with the truth, because his sin spoke for itself, he blamed the people for his actions:

1 Sam. 15:24 ~ "And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice."

He "feared the people" and "obeyed their voice". In other words he admitted that he was the one through whom sin had been actualized BUT the people were responsible for his violation of the instruction of the Lord. The results of such actions were clear then and they should be clear now:

1 Sam. 15:22-23 ~ "22-And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. 23-For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king."

And ultimately:

1 Sam. 15:35 ~ "And Samuel came no more to see Saul until the day of his death: nevertheless Samuel mourned for Saul: and the LORD repented that he had made Saul king over Israel."

Final Thought:

This blog has centered on the Episcopal Church leadership, but it may has well be the Church Of God In Christ (of which I am a member) Apostolic, Assembly Of God, Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, Evangelical Luteran, Catholic or otherwise. There is no exemption for any of us who have failed the Lord miserably regarding these issues and others. The denomination isn't the key here, apostasy is. When any people turn from the true and living God unto fables and myth, the community is in trouble because the church is powerless. Thank God for an opportunity to turn and be set free!

Blessed!

Not So Wild About Harry & The New Humanism

Human Rights Campaign's (HRC) Religion & Faith Program Director, Harry Knox, was appointed as a member to the President's Office Of Faith Based And Neighborhood Partnerships Advisory Committee. He joins an exclusive list of individuals from around the country as referenced in our blog "What Do They Have Planned For You?"

Mr. Knox is not the chairman of the committee, so ultimately will have as much ability to provide input as other members. According to BCNN1.com Other members added to the Faith Based Advisory Council include:

Anju Bhargava, founder of the Asian Indian Women of America
Bishop Charles Blake, presiding bishop of the Church of God in Christ
The Rev. Peg Chemberlin, president-elect of the National Council of Churches
Nathan Diament, director of public policy for the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America
Dalia Mogahed, executive director of the Gallup Center for Muslim Studies
Anthony Picarello, general counsel for the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops
Nancy Ratzan, president of the National Council of Jewish Women
The Rev. Sharon Watkins, general minister and president of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)

Whether a person is gay or straight any individual having an opportunity to serve our country should be proud, however the problem is, that not only is Mr. Knox a HETEROPHOBIC, self proclaimed gay Christian minister, who doesn't view homosexuality as SIN. He also directs certain activities of his employer (HRC) that not only promotes gay rights, but holds that the right to marry between gays is a human right. We've seen those concepts promoted regularly within the gay rights movement as noted by me HERE and HERE. This, once again, is solid confirmation that those who promote gay rights agenda also hold fast that the right of marriage between gays is a human right.

Mr. Knox's appointment is a remarkably radical move for at least 2 reasons. 1- His appointment falls in line with President Obama's statements regarding faith based organization's hiring policies as it relates to qualifying for funds. The President has an opinion that in order for the church to participate in federal funding opportunities that it cannot "discriminate" ie: the church must employ homosexuals, in ministry positions even if that is against their doctrine.

As if that weren't bad enough the second problem is that Mr. Knox wholesale reinterprets the bible to accommodate his views on homosexuality. Certainly this is not new to the homosexual right. We have other apostates, such as Harvard's Dr. Peter Gomes, who proudly professes his gayness and twists scripture in effort to back his interpretations also. That dangerous combination may be what President Obama was looking for to create and promote a strong, militant, voice in favor of the homosexual right in order to help change the nature and context of the argument and by course change the methodology of the church in dealing with community service issues.

Scripture Twisters & Gender Benders

Mr. Knox, like many liberal homosexual scholars, seems to be proud of his biblical illiteracy and heretical teachings. His interpretations of scripture are so radical and to such an extreme, that he mangles both scripture's meaning and intent regarding the issue of sexual sins. In fact there is no practical way that he can believe in the inspiration of scripture to any extent while maintaining and espousing his views. Specifically speaking of Romans 1:22-28, which clearly speaks against the practice of homosexuality:

"22-Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23-And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24-Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25-Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26-For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27-And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28-And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;"

Mr. Knox's gives this interpretation of the preceding verses as follows:
  • “Paul did not have any idea of the kind of love that I feel for a partner when I am partnered. He didn’t know what that was about,” ...“The straight man, the heterosexual man who got the privilege of writing the book, the educated, rich, heterosexual man, Paul, who got to write the book, didn’t think it was natural because for him it must not have been.” ~ Debate with the Rev. Gino Jennings recorded Nov. 28, 2004 at the First Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ in Philadelphia.

As noted, Mr. Knox not only destroys the doctrine of scriptural inspiration, he also makes a cardinal error of improper biblical interpretation by decontextualizing the text all together. Once he does this he reverts to an interpretive based on relativism and a postmodern understanding of scripture when referring to homosexual issues. The anatomy of what he does is this: He confines the scripture to what he presupposes is its Sitz im Leben (life setting), therefore not allowing the scripture to speak eternally. As stated he presupposes the condition of the scripture based on his control belief that homosexuality is not condemned by God or within scripture. That's why he can look right at it and not see it.

For anyone serious about biblical studies, you should know that finding the Sitz im Leben is not wrong. That is the correct technique used to explore the context of what is being said and why, however imposing a prepositional bias upon scripture coupled with failure to accept scripture as being eternal or relevant through time, confines the scripture to a specific time frame and ultimately relegates the message, which includes morality and righteousness, to a culturally commensurate model. Jesus said however that his words are spirit and life:

John 6:63 ~ "63-It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life."

That "life" indicates at least two things. 1- That HIS words provide life spiritually to the soul that was dead in trespasses and sins (Jn.1:4, Eph. 2:1-5) and 2- That HIS words are applicable to our current existence and are not restricted to the time in which certain truths were revealed. Mr. Knox is blinded to this because he has regarded his sin as authentic, undefiled and a diversity of human nature. His example is one displaying how we are NOT to approach the understanding of scripture in general.

Prov. 14:12 ~ "12-There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death."

Birds Of A Feather

In his defense, Mr. Knox's type of approach, (although there is none) we can honestly say that his approach is not exclusive to him. In other words, he is not the inventor of such apostate interpretations of scripture. As stated there are other homosexual heretics that promote a similar message, but in an even greater sense this is the approach of what I call the New Humanism. If you'll be careful to note, this approach is also espoused by President Obama who appointed Mr. Knox. When our President invokes the thought that we must "rethink" America and what we do or have done historically (as he often does), New Humanism this is underlying context of his statements. It's about more than going green and changing a light bulb or becoming less dependent upon foreign oil, it's about a complete moral paradigm and cultural realignment, based on modern standards and social norms.

Listen to our President as he explains these concepts were developed in his mind. Be careful to note the basis for his own sense of morality or values:

The President's Thoughts On His Mother And Values:

  • "My mother, who I think had as much influence on my values as anybody, was not someone who wore her religion on her sleeve, We'd go to church for Easter. She wasn't a 'church lady." ~ Senator Barack Obama, Sunday March 14th 2004 at Salem Baptist Church

  • In his 1993 memoir, Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance, Now President Obama, describes his mother as "a lonely witness for secular humanism." and also said "My mother's confidence in needlepoint virtues depended on a faith I didn't possess, a faith that she would refuse to describe as religious; that, in fact, her experience told her was sacrilegious: a faith that rational, thoughtful people could shape their own destiny,"

In other words his mother's concepts on faith, which were as influential as anyone else's influence in his life, and were transferred to him, weren't actually a model of biblical faith and were based on a view of self or individualism. His concepts were based on an inner direction, self actualization and self control. eg; The thought that one can "shape your own destiny" no need for God to do that. Sounds a lot like modern WOFers(Word Of Faith'ers) doesn't it? In fact, more specifically, it sounds like teachings of the New Enlightenment that I previously set forth on this blog. Oprah and Eckhardt are feelin' fine and fabulous...

In the Obama and Knox world, faith is only a pseudonym used to gain access to a greater audience. When they use the word, it sounds like it belongs within the community of them that espouse biblical faith, but it doesn't. Look at a few of the President's conclusions on faith

  • "So, I have a deep faith, I'm rooted in the Christian tradition. I believe that there are many paths to the same place, and that is a belief that there is a higher power, a belief that we are connected as a people. That there are values that transcend race or culture, that move us forward, and there's an obligation for all of us individually as well as collectively to take responsibility to make those values lived." ~ Senator Barack Obama, Sunday March 14th 2004 at Salem Baptist Church

The New Humanist approach offers shades of spirituality and sounds all but too convincing, but quickly reduces everything to social relativism and subjective interpretations. The New Humanism promotes the recreation of morality and moral standards in every age leading to the "rethinking" of moral values and the ultimate redefinition of everything that was formerly held sacred. In other words, using these new interpretive methods, there can be no universal truth and no enduring or efficacious truth that is truly sustainable from generation to generation.

Another feature of this methodology is the belief that scripture is culturally commensurate eg: in line with current culturally accepted standards of morality, values and norms. I hate to be repetitive, but please remember, what we said about the direction of humanism under the Humanist Manifesto...the ultimate goal was and is complete replacement of the "City Of God" with the "human city":

"…The wider platform for human progress as part of a New Enlightenment needs, I submit, to advocate secularism in the above three senses:

(1) the separation of religion from the state;(2) the humanization of values that satisfy the deeper interests and needs of human beings; and (3) the decline of religious practice, entailing the growth of the Human City in place of the City of God." ~ Dr. Paul Kurtz's Council For Secular Humanism's Humanist Manifesto of 2000.

How Is This Happening Within The Church?

Through a weak, flesh centered, people powered leadership. The new humanism/apostasy isn't rising outside of the church, it is coming directly to the church, talking the language of the church and it's taking no captives and holding no hostages that it does not plan to kill. This type of apostasy is rising through leaders who worry more about the clothes that they put on than the substance that they put in (their hearts). Who care more about what they drive, than what drives them. Through leaders who have turned from God and became "scoffers" walking after their own lusts and have catered to what seems and appears to be the right path after the flesh.

2 Peter 3:3-4 ~ "3-Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4-And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation."

Jude 3:18 ~ "18-How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts."

These are the atheistic teachers of the bible who do not believe in the miracle working power of God and if they do, they only use such as a display and pretense to open church doors so that they can promote their filth. They are the ones who are dumbed down by the world's political leaders in the name of advancing the gospel. Ultimately they serve themselves and not God because their light has been dimmed if not even put all the way out.

Example Of A Weak Church & Weak Church Leaders:

On May 4th and 5th 2009 Mr. Knox's HRC will be holding their Clergy Call For Justice & Equality 2009 You Tube video HERE. Previous efforts have netted up to 200 + pastors from across the nation. Yes, this is a relatively small group but it's influence and voice is being heard in almost every aspect of Christianity. The call is made to all clergy in efforts of galvanizing pastors and ministers from every region and religious faith to support and promote equality (aka: THE HOMOSEXUAL AGENDA) and to ask churches to be inclusive "like the bible says that it should" This is from the HRC's site:

  • "This year our mission is to ignite religious leaders to be agents of change for lesbian, gay, bisexual and, most particularly, transgender people across the country! You have been prophetic in your insistence that we affirm the worth and dignity of LGBT people not just in our congregations but in our laws, our workplaces and our families. Religious voices stand at the vanguard of our movement for equality."
A Final Note:

As one should understand, we are in a full faced frontal attack of the enemy and we must engage. Although I believe that the church's battle in America against homosexuality is a far gone cultural conclusion, I also believe that God is still in the saving business, and the attack of the enemy shall not prevail against HIS church (Mt. 16:18) I believe that he is yet moving by HIS Spirit and that a homosexual or any person in sin, whether they want to be in that sin or not, is just right to be saved.(Mt. 18:11, Lk. 19:10)

I received an email from an individual battling with thoughts of homosexuality. He wanted to know what he needed to do to be free. The first stop is to not buy into the lie that you are destined to be a homosexual. If you were born a homosexual, thank God that the scripture records that you "MUST be born again" (Jn. 3:3) and that Christ can make you free.(Jn. 8:35) This freedom however, does not come without responsibility. Just as the sexually immoral heterosexual involved in extramarital sexual activity has a responsibility to personal purity, the sexually immoral and abominable act of homosexuality must be avoided, and individuals tempted must find respite both in God's word, prayer and fasting, fellowship with believers and breakthroughs in schematic thinking.(1 John 3:2-3, Rom. 8:7-9)

Beyond that, active living and true biblical faith must be applied knowing that God can and will change the mind, (Rom. 8:2, 2 Cor. 10:4) That God is a deliverer of the heart and heart issues (Ps. 51:10) That God has a way to provide the relief from the burden and guilt of sin (Jn. 10:10, Rom. 8:10-11) that is required for you to live above and beyond the grip of the nature of sin. (Mt. 11:28, Rom. 6:1-2, Gal. 5:1) Your deliverance is IN Christ and in noone else. (Ephes. 2:1-5, Rom. 8:15)

We don't need the excuses and allowances for sin of the Harry Knox's of the world. We need an intervention of epic spiritual proportions with the God of our salvation.

Jude 20-25 ~ "20-But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, 21-Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. 22-And of some have compassion, making a difference: 23-And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. 24-Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, 25-To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen"

At a all time low must have been the Christian Chambers of Megachurchdom when Tricky Ricky better known as Pastor Rick Warren PURPOSEFULLY, in less than 100 days, recanted his words regarding homosexual marriage as not to offend the group of "sexual minority" and state that homosexuals are a class of people that he has no problems with in the least bit. This is all so reminiscent of the post I did called Parlor Tricks & Magic, that I felt a little research was in order so that we can see past this David Blaine impersonation that Tricky Ricky is trying to pull. Let's look at how the secular media and homosexuals considered Trick Ricky statements:

On 12/17/2008 POLITICO reported:

  • "But it’s his {Warren's} support for the California constitutional amendment to ban same-sex marriage that drew the most heated criticism from Democrats Wednesday." (emphasis mine)
Then on 12/17/2008 The Washington Blade editor Kevin Naff said:

  • "Warren, outspoken proponent of California’s Proposition 8, is James Dobson masquerading as a moderate.”

Even Tricky Ricky said this himself:

  • “We support Proposition 8. And if you believe what the Bible says about marriage, you need to support Proposition 8. … I urge you to support Proposition 8, and pass that on. … Everybody knows what I believe about it.”
So everybody in the world, including Tricky Ricky himself, knew what he was saying, what he meant and where he stood regarding Prop 8 and homosexual marriage...That is until Pastor Ricky met Larry King again.

Well, according to POLITICO on 4/12/09 Tricky Ricky cancelled his most recent TV appearance on ABC due to contradictory statements made during that Larry King interview. Besides the failure to show any conviction on what is arguably the most heated moral issue in America today, this situation even made Pastor Ricky invoke the 10% Grace Public Statement Rule. That's right...The 10% Grace Public Statement Rule which probably hasn't been used since Former President "Slick Willy" Clinton invoked it before the discovery of the "stained dress" and these comments regarding Monica Lewinsky, "I DID..NOT...HAVE SEXUAL RELATIONS...with that woman, Miss. Lewinsky".

In like fashion Tricky Ricky said the following:

  • "I am not an anti-gay or anti-gay marriage activist. I never have been, never will be. During the whole Proposition 8 thing, I never once went to a meeting, never once issued a statement, never — never once even gave an endorsement in the two years Prop 8 was going. The week before the — the vote, somebody in my church said, Pastor Rick, what — what do you think about this? And I sent a note to my own members that said, I actually believe that marriage is — really should be defined, that that definition should be — say between a man and a woman. And then all of a sudden out of it, they made me, you know, something that I really wasn't. … I wrote to all my gay friends — the leaders that I knew — and actually apologized to them. That never got out. There were some things said that — you know, everybody should have 10 percent grace when they say public statements.”
So we understand that you're not an anti-gay activist or anti gay marriage activist, but are you a minister of the word of God??? And obviously unless that wuz your body double, that was YOU Ricky saying that you and every Christian should endorse Prop 8. Did anyone else see what I saw and hear what I heard??? Or was this just a grand illusion?
In addition to all this, Pastor Warren's publicist said that the Pastor couldn't do ABC (Yes, that's Television) because he was "sick with exhaustion". Further, Tricky Ricky wouldn't comment on the Iowa Supreme Court decision to legalize gay marriage because "it's not his agenda" Notice the wording...it wasn't that the issue was not ON his agenda, he says it is NOT his agenda.
OK

So now, what some have proclaimed as the number one preacher in America, won't comment on a moral issue effecting millions of Americans because it's NOT his agenda??? In other words It's Not His Purpose!

What Happened To This Word?

Isaiah 58:1~ "Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of and the house of Jacob their sins"

But I guess in order to do that you have to have more than people power behind you, and really be full of the power of God and in the Spirit of the Lord like Micah states:

Micah 3:8 ~ "But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the Lord, and of judgement and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin."

I don't pastor a megachurch, so maybe I just simply don't understand the difficulties of being biblically consistent when those things could cost popularity, television appearances, political associations, and popular public opinion. So I guess because of that me and others like me who simply believe and uphold God's word no matter what doors close in our faces are just considered "haters" by the world. Then there's this word:

Rom. 8:6-8 ~ "6-For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7-Because the carnal mind is an enmity against god: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8-So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God."

Maybe the exegesis of scripture regarding standing against sin and immoral practices doesn't apply to the megachurch and popular pastor crowd. It certainly doesn't apply to the United Churches of Christ who now distribute condoms IN CHURCH to their members. So the church is no more than a social club and a place to self-promote popular personality. Maybe I just simply missed receiving the memo that being popular is more of what the Lord desires of his people than being saved, teaching and affirming biblical truth.

One thing I do know, is that when he comes, as my friends from Commissioned said some years ago, "There 'll be no time to get it right, when the Lord cracks the sky...Will you be ready when Jesus comes???"

Rev. 22: 10-15 ~ "10-And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. 11- He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, ;et him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. 12-And behold I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13- I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14- Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15- For without are dogs and sourcers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie."

Conclusion, Outcome & Recap
Life Changers conference 2009 was met with exceeding and abundant joy both by members of New Bethel and individuals from surrounding areas such as far away as Indiana and St. Louis. Here's a brief summary of some of the messages that were preached:

Thursday ~ Elder D. L. Foster, Gcmwatch.com
Thursday night was electrified by the anointed praise and worship leadership of Supt. Harvey Burnett. This provided an extremely smooth platform upon which Dr. Foster would operate. Using the book of Jude as his text Dr. Foster surgically diagnosed the difference between charlatanism and true ministry, revealing how the "thief" has crept into the church and stolen the goods of God's people through weak leadership and by promising false hopes in exchange for money, illicit sexual favors, homosexual liaisons, and other ungodly lusts. Dr. Foster referenced how Jesus said that his house had become a "den of thieves" as opposed to a house of prayer and used the opportunity to call for a church revolution reminding us that the word Saint was equivalent to one who lived holy, and one striving to be what God called them to be according to his word. He encouraged the church to not partner with the world as the current trend has been from visible leaders all over the country.
Dr. Foster's message was received with great joy as many of the members of New Bethel and conference attendees received special prayer and rededication to service at his hands.
Friday ~ Elder G. Craige Lewis EX Ministries
Friday night was greeted by individuals from areas such as Springfield, Il, Indiana, St. Louis, Danville and Chicago. Delivering his powerful new message "Don't X Me Out" Elder Lewis provided all the ammunition necessary to gun down the devil in our communities. Drawing from previous messages such as "Exodus Into Egypt", Elder Lewis broke down the false alarm of swine flu comparing it to a drop in the bucket compared to the devastation that our community suffers because of the epidemic of abortion (which currently exceeds 1400 per day in the black community) STD's (which are on the rise among black youth in epidemic proportions) Incarceration rates(which are higher than any group in America among black men) and biblical illiteracy, which is promoted by pulpit pimps and charlatans who's only objective is to live better than the people that they serve.
In the message Elder Lewis broke down the sharp contrast of how easily children can secure contraceptives while being restricted from alcohol until age 21 because the law doesn't think they can handle it. He asked "can children handle sex any better?" in this he painted the picture of societal confusion over moral values and how society and the church has further sacrificed their children at the altar and fire of the false god molech.
This was truly and awesome night of power and truth and was received with great joy. Many youth and families came and rededicated their lives to the Lord receiving special prayer and anointing.
Saturday ~ Prayer Breakfast ~ Pastor H. Burnett & Elder D. L. Foster
The final event of Life Changers 2009 was also met with high anticipation and with great joy as the Saints of New Bethel gathered just before 8:00 AM in breakfast fellowship. Afterward, the Saints heard the exposition and encouragements of both Dr. Foster and Pastor Burnett as they spoke on issues of family, sexuality, including homosexuality and how to avoid it, sexual promiscuity and worldly inculturations.
Dr. Foster explained that the church is seemingly in a Laodocian age as it is only interested in self preservation, prosperity and what it can receive. He also explained that the doctrine of inclusion, and lack of truth in dealing with issues has had the most harmful affects on the church and those within the church.
These teachings were followed by encouragements from Pastor Burnett explaining what weapons that the individual and church possesses to eliminate immorality, strengthen the weak and to secure the family. This session was followed by a special anointing and prayer for all of the children in attendance.
Life Changers 2009 was a tremendous event and one that will reap positive benefits in the lives of the attendees for months and even years to come.
Special thanks to Elders Foster and Lewis and all those who contributed to the success of this conference either through attendance, financially or through prayer. May the Lord bless you greatly.

A Special Tribute "Save A Seat For Me!"

The Dunamis Word and the Pastor and members of the New Bethel Church of God In Christ of Peoria, IL. and the Bethel Epiphany Church Of God In Christ of Detroit, MI. pay a very special tribute to an extraordinarily great woman of God. Mother Earlean Cross-Sanders (August 13, 1939 ~ April 1, 2009), wife of Bishop Robert R. Sanders of Illinois 3rd Jurisdiction Church Of God In Christ, went home to be with the Lord on April 1, 2009. Mother Sanders served faithfully in her multiple duties as Servant of God, Spouse, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Teacher, Friend and Example for all Saints within the body of Christ. Mother Sanders' transition to her new abode makes us realize what we yet wait in earnest to experience.

It is really no surprise that this was a great woman of God, having been born to an outstanding family that labored in the Lord. Her parents, Bishop Moses Cross, Sr. & Mother Priscilla Cross, laid a great foundation for Mother Sanders and their other children. As a result, Mother Sanders was saved at the age of 12. Mother Sanders was a beautiful and exemplary woman of God. She was a blessing to women in Illinois and all over the nation. Mother Sanders stood by her husband in marriage just shy of 50 years (since 4/4/1959). She helped to diligently raise 5 children (Robert II, Dehlia, Tereasa Elaine, Terry, and Rosalind) She ministered to the needs of Saints wherever and whenever opportunities arose for her to do so. Mother Sanders' outward beauty was only eclipsed by her inward beauty and light of the Lord within her life. Her accepting smile and love will be greatly missed as we move foreward in the work that Christ has, by his grace, left us here to do.

Final Thought:

At the homegoing celebration of Mother Sanders, held at All Nations COGIC Joliet, IL. on April 9th 2009, Dr. Marilyn Cross, our Jurisdictional Supervisor and wife of Mother Sanders' brother Supt. Arthur Cross, reminded the women of 3rd Jurisdiction that just as Mother Sanders carried forward the legacy left to her by her Mother (Mother Priscilla Cross) we all have a responsibility to carry on the work that Mother Sanders left with us in mentoring and teaching the next generations in our homes and in the ministry. Mother Jean Booker (spouse of Bishop Ocie Booker ~Illinois 1st Jurisdiction Church Of God In Christ) was called to represent the National Bishop Wives Circle in a special tribute to Mother Sanders. In what I considered to be a highlight of the service, Mother Booker explained how she and Mother Sanders would often talk about their plans at National and International church functions and would always conclude their conversations by encouraging one another to "Save A Seat" just in case they didn't see each other right away. She explained that although they didn't have that final conversation before Mother Sanders transitioned, she knew that Mother Sanders automatically knows to do her best to "Save A Seat" for her.

As I thought on these things, I thought of the greatness of glory that Mother is experiencing at this very moment. I simply wish to say, thank you Mother Sanders for setting a wonderful, great and biblical example for all to follow. Thank you for showing that the trials of Pastoral ministry are not an inhibitor to a strong family and beautiful children. Thank you because the people of God, myself and my spouse included, have been blessed by your mere presence. I join Mother Booker in saying "Save A Seat For Me Too!"

With Love, Respect & All Humility

Supt. H. Burnett

The New Truth, Fairness, Justice & Love

"We've shown that truth and fairness and justice and love are more powerful than one man's veto pen," ~
Gay Advocate Beth Robinson (pictured crying center) 4/7/2009 Montpeilier, VT

The Legislature of the state of Vermont overrode the Governor's veto against homosexual marriage by a two thirds majority of both the House(100-49) and Senate (23-5) and has now ordained marriages between gays and lesbians as the law of the state. Although New Hampshire and Maine are on the way, Vermont is the first state to introduce gay marriage through legislative action. Vermont joined Iowa, whose State Supreme Court, in a unanimous decision, made gay marriage the law of the land on Friday April, 3rd 2009 (now on furlough due to budget cuts) That case had been circulating through the courts since 2005.

Vermont and Iowa join both Massachusetts and Connecticut as the only four states in the American Union of States (aka United States of America) to sanction gay marriage. There are a host of other states that are considering civil unions or domestic partnerships which are 1 to 2 steps away from gay and homosexual marriage but are certainly steps in a favorable direction of the gay rights movement. So far as President Obama's backyard (ie:the nations capital) Reuters reports:
  • "Washington D.C. extended new rights to gay couples on Tuesday [4/7/2009], too, with a unanimous City Council vote to recognize same-sex marriages performed outside the district. Some city lawmakers lauded the move as a prelude to legal same-sex marriage in the U.S. capital."

The Nations Capital??? Concerning the Iowa victory, please note the jubilation of attorney Richard Socarides a former Clinton Senior Advisor on gay rights:

  • "It's a big win because, coming from Iowa, it represents the mainstreaming of gay marriage. And it shows that despite attempts stop gay marriage through right wing ballot initiatives, like in California, the courts will continue to support the case for equal rights for gays,"
Evidently Richard feels that no matter the will of the people that it is activist courts who should have the final authority to make decisions of this kind and impose those decisions upon the people. Unfortunately, this lawyer must not have read the Constitution Of The United States. If he did I'm sure he'd understand that the Courts of the United States were certainly not given powers at any point and time to make the laws of the country. In fact courts have no law making ability at all.

Concerning the Vermont Legislatures decision, consider former gay House Representative Robert Dostis who had this to say at the news:
  • "It's been a very long battle. It's been almost 20 years to get to this point," Dostis said. Then speaking of his 25 year live in lover Chuck Kletecka, he says, "I think finally, most people in Vermont understand that we're a couple like any other couple. We're as good and as bad as any other group of people. And now I think we have a chance to prove ourselves here on forward that we're good members of our community."
Now it is obvious that Mr.(or Mrs.???) Dostis has reformulated his/her own brand of morality claiming that homosexuals are "as good and as bad any other group of people", What is that about? Nobody has argued that homosexuals were not human beings. (At least that I'm aware of) The argument isn't about whether homosexuals are "good members of the community" either. The argument is about a paradigm shift in moral values which creates groups of people calling them "sexual minorities" and ultimately exalting deviant sexual practices to equal currently accepted traditional and moral sexual practices. I would like to know from Mr. (or Mrs.) Dostis on what basis has he/she established his/her moral value? What makes his/her sexual preference more preferred, legal and right than that of a pedophile (which I will have an article on soon~ because they are fighting for their rights in a similar manner) who is currently restricted in every state of the union from fulfilling his/her desire for underage sexual partners? Following their pattern, the polygamist, bigamist and even uncontrollable rapist should have the same rights as a "sexual minority" that the homosexual has under these new laws and subjective moral standards. All deviant sexual practices should be rewarded. Sexual preferences are just that, SEXUAL PREFERENCES, not a genetic condition as the gay rights movement wants us to believe.

All of this is shades of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) (Y'u-know that document that the Church Of God In Christ endorses and has endorsed? In case you didn't, just read HERE and HERE) Which is clearly and unequivocally stated by gay rights organizations and advocates as the backbone or foundation of the gay rights movement both nationally and internationally. The declaration, without singling out or excluding any particular group of individuals allows "human rights" for "sexual minorities" among other classes of individuals. For those who don't already know, the UDHR calls for the world to standardize policies for individuals who claim that they been discriminated against, in every United Nations member country and around the world. (Ooh yea, the cat's out of the bag now, and I won't let it just die and go away, because there are significant implications of a church endorsement of this document.)

Who Are The Playas, Pushas and Pawns?

In Iowa, it's Lambda Legal, a New York-based gay rights organization. They filed a lawsuit on behalf of six gay and lesbian Iowa couples who were denied marriage licenses. According to the Associated Press report, some of their children were also listed as plaintiffs. Why would children be listed as plaintiffs in an adult homosexual discrimination case?

Well, this is the same Lambda Legal who was featured in our article, "Are 'Human Rights' 'Gay Rights'? Pt. 2" who have produced, encouraged and promoted ALLY Week that promotes "safe" school environments by encouraging non-gay individuals to stand in defence of LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) persons in and at the school level. These networks also focus on the re-education and indoctrination of children into greater understandings and acceptance of LGBT individuals no matter what values a parent teaches their children at home. All of that is a product of the National Education Association who in 2007 adopted 3 no-vote executive session recommendations on sexual orientation to implement in public school agenda. The 3 recommendations were:
  1. "Develop public and member support" for the "creation, amendment and/or passage of federal hate crimes legislation" that the recommendation says "protects members and students from harassment or discrimination based on sexual orientation."
  2. "Expand the GLBT web page on the NEA website to include all resources devoted to GLBT issues, including but not limited to training, strategies for collective bargaining, legislation and policy, and the legal rights of education employees and students." Another portion of the recommendation asked that "NEA develop training standards for the appropriate inclusion of sexual orientation and gender identity/expression issues in NEA trainings."
  3. "Advocate for more fully incorporating sexual orientation and gender identity/expression within National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education standards and principles."The committee set its sights on the standards set by NCATE in hopes of someday requiring teacher candidates to undergo diversity training related to sexual orientation.
Then there is the Gay & Lesbian Advocates & Defenders (GLAD), who helped to legalize gay marriage in Massachusetts and Connecticut, and has set a goal of expanding such marriages to all New England states by 2012. Maine and New Hampshire already offer same-sex couples some form of legal recognition. ~Reuters 4/7/09
Even food and beverage companies such as Taco Bell and PepsiCo have entrenched themselves into the cause to normalize the homo-agenda. In fact in one of Taco Bell's most recent commercials a pregnant man dressed as a woman in a blue dress, wearing leggings uncovers his stomach to reveal several affordable Taco Bell menu items. When the second character in the commercial asks him if he is wearing makeup, he simply responds by saying "You Can't Judge Me!"...This message is plain, simple and clearly goes beyond the sell and promotion of foods into a message of social morality and is clearly a message of comfort from Taco Bell to its current and potential customer base of transgender individuals. While Pepsi has given its endorsement and YOUR MONEY to Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) ($500,000) to help them oppose Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays and Gays (PFOX) which is a group who provides services to help ex-gays transitioning to normative personal, moral and sexual lifestyles. If that weren't bad enough they also gave ($500,000) more to The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) to oppose and continue to oppose Prop. 8. This is the same HRC which also uses the UDHR as a foundation to promote the homosexual agenda as stated in "Are 'Human Rights' 'Gay Rights'?"

Additional Problems:

The implications of all this are clear. The family has been redefined and morality shifted to those values that are not objectively based but are only subjectively based on whims and self desires. The church in it's desire to attract, a greater panacea of individuals, has become confused and staggered in an intoxicated stupor awaiting the next program or feel good event to resolve issues and make things "right as rain". I am afraid that the church has failed to reinforce and stand for the value system of the word within their communities. As a church our apolitical stance has allowed ungodly executives and legislators to reign and ungodly judges to proliferate their ungodly and anti-God value systems. Many of our ministers only want to be known by the President, Governor, Mayor, and other local official but do not wish to address anything of significance or substance or call those officials to godly and righteous accountability. We have reverted to "guest list" salvation where we are proud to take the high seats in public gatherings but live in the low seats and gutters of immorality and self preservation. We've stood for more money and popularity but who has stood for the word and righteousness?

It should further be no surprise that the first group effected by this set massacre of morality, is and would be the black community. Why and how? Our homes have been exposed due to lack of leadership. Men have been taken from the home by the droves through drugs, incarceration and immoral sexual practices and disease and bad choices. That has left a burden on women, grandparents and school officials who seek to provide moral substance to a generation that is seemingly destined and bent on shattering HELL right down the middle. The penile system has incarcerated black men at a rate of over 50% of all incarcerations annually. AIDS and HIV has ravaged the black community to the tune of over 50% of all new cases reported annually and over 65% of all young adult cases. This leaves a gap and a moral outcry from both the young and old of the black community wondering why and how we got into such a devastating condition.

Then there's the church, who has only thought about it's next offering or building plan program, and has left the family exposed. The daughter and son have been left open to molestation by the gay and lesbian minister of music, and musicians. Ministers have left our daughters who were once holy, seeking abortions as contraception to cover preachers and deacon's sins. The minister that has been afraid to speak up for fear of the board's decision has been "whipped" by popularity and social acceptance into submitting to the devil and leaving the ministry mission unattended. The members of the church who have supposedly been "waiting on the Lord" while the church and its leadership engages in more ungodliness with the endorsement of the HOLY TITHE that is represent weekly is equally to blame as the sinners that lead them. In short silent endorsement has allowed the innocent to actually partake in the sins of these ungodly self-promoting pimps and prostitutes that claim to have a word from the Lord and lead the people of God into HELL.
What Can We Do?

It is inevitable, the law of the land has changed. As the atheist Borg (Star Trek) chant "Resistance Is Futile!" the church can only REPENT for allowing sleep to come upon it in such an important time as this. it must RETURN back to God in hopes that he will stem this tide of unrighteousness, that has come upon us. The products are a rampant rise in atheism because our bible studies have been of no substance. A new and worse type of immorality, because we have made profit , gain, and association from sons who have no identity and daughters who have chosen material over character. The church has allowed ungodliness to not only sit in the church but direct, dress and control the church. This all MUST be judged by the righteous and holy God that he is. This WILL be judged by the righteous and holy God that he is. You'll find me on my knees asking HIM to help and forgive me!

2 Chron. 7:14-16 ~ "14-If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 15-Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place. 16-For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually."
